Project Jatropha continues their journey with the Global Call to Youth (GCY) program virtually since I’m in the USA. I was supposed to visit the Savinenapu Foundation during my last visit to India. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do it due to the time constraints. So, I connected with the foundation after returning to the USA from India.
Founded in 2020, the foundation houses 35 children (ages 6-17). Their mission is to provide accommodation, education, food, and housing to the underprivileged and help them to become responsible adults. Savinenapu Foundation has a small garden, so they were interested in receiving some help in order to enrich their garden. Since I had worked with Mr. Dharmesh, previously for the Siddaganga Foundation garden and had chosen Factamfos and urea, I suggested the same to Ms. Manassa, the founder of Savinenapu Foundation. Project Jatropha made a small donation for the same cause. I plan to visit this foundation during my next visit to India where I will continue my humanitarian mission and extend the GCYs to other underprivileged institutions.
